After months of preparation and anticipation, geNFesT, the revolutionary NFT festival, has come to a close. As the main organizer, 3six9 is thrilled and grateful for the unwavering support from generous sponsors, dedicated collaboration partners, excellent collaboration merchants, insightful speakers, inspiring exhibitors, hardworking crews, enthusiastic audiences, and passionate supporters.
geNFesT is a milestone for 3six9 and all the collaboration partners to take a monumental step in getting more Web3 elements into real-life lifestyles. Thus, geNFesT has undoubtedly left an indelible mark as a groundbreaking NFT festival, introducing the public to the captivating world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and Web3 technologies. Meanwhile, the festival was supported by the Penang government, specifically the then-Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Penang State Executive Councillor, YB Yeoh Soon Hin. With the objectives of “educating, entertaining, engaging, and exciting,” geNFesT has broken through the circle and delivered its value to more than 500 attendees, many of whom are new to the Web3 scene.
The main event of geNFesT — the geNFesT Conference was organized on 30 June and 1 July 2023, with various panel discussions, workshops, and Ideathon competition at Digital Penang and Think City, at George Town, Penang. The satellite events of geNFesT were started from 29 June to 9 July 2023, running at several venues, including Fort Cornwallis, Hin Bus Depot, and COEX.

geNFesT Conference at Digital Penang - NFT Showcase: The NFT showcase has displayed the diverse and innovative world of NFT from established Web3 and NFT communities. The merging of digital art and blockchain technology left an indelible mark on everyone.
NFT Showcase at Think City - Networking and Collaboration: geNFesT was a melting pot of ideas, where participants from various backgrounds exchanged insights and explored opportunities for collaboration within and beyond the NFT and Web3 ecosystem.
Networking at Think City - Interesting Programs and Exhibition: Several exciting programs have been conducted during the geNFesT period, including the lucky draw for publicizing the Spend-to-Earn concept, the geNFesT one-month NFT membership program, the Treasure hunt activities, the DJ Beatbox Battle, and the After-Event Party, which organized together by 3six9, geNFesT co-organizers, and strategic partners. Meanwhile, most program owners and exhibitors were showcasing their impressive swags and projects in the exhibition hall and interacting with the audiences.
